My educational journey, from the classrooms of Sri Lanka to the halls of Australia, opened my eyes to the transformative power of innovative approaches in education. Throughout my decade of experience within the Australian framework, it became evident how developed countries strategically integrate technology and cutting-edge teaching methods to empower their students.
During my MBA studies at Monash University, connections with global experts and industry leaders in education further solidified my belief in the profound impact of STEM/STEAM. I witnessed firsthand how it fosters creativity, critical thinking, and the practical skills that shape well-rounded individuals ready to make a difference in the world.
These experiences ignited a fire within me, a desire to give back and contribute to the educational landscape of my beloved motherland, Sri Lanka. This long-held dream fueled the founding of edMinds, an initiative born from a deep commitment to supporting Sri Lanka’s educational progress.
Today, through the collaboration of dedicated experts and a shared vision for a brighter future, this dream is blossoming into reality. With a focus on STEM/STEAM integration, we strive for a Sri Lanka where all our children are equipped to thrive in a world shaped by technology and innovation.
