Building Communication Beyond Words
In a meaningful step towards inclusive education, EdMinds Academy recently conducted an engaging Public Relations (PR) session for the students of The School for the Deaf, Ratmalana (Facebook page). Held at our EdMinds Academy, the workshop brought together around 20 enthusiastic students, offering them valuable insights into the fundamentals of public relations, communication, and confidence-building.
Creating Equal Learning Opportunities
At EdMinds, we believe that education should empower every learner — regardless of their abilities. This session was designed to introduce PR concepts in an accessible, interactive manner, using visual aids, demonstrations, and activities that encouraged participation and creativity. Our trainers focused on helping students understand how communication works in public and professional settings — from body language and teamwork to self-expression and presentation skills.
A Step Toward Confidence and Inclusion
The workshop also aimed to inspire students to see themselves as active contributors in the modern communication landscape.
By simplifying key PR concepts, our team helped students grasp how effective communication can influence relationships, build trust, and create opportunities — both personally and professionally. The session concluded with students confidently sharing their thoughts and engaging in small group activities that reflected the essence of public relations — connection and understanding.
